Cranberry Township Cemetery Book
The Cranberry Genealogy Club has read all known cemeteries in Cranberry Township and published a book, Cemetery Survey of Cranberry Township, Butler County, Pennsylvania, containing the information. The book includes the following:
- A description of each cemetery
- An every name index - a list of the surnames. Cemetery Survey of Cranberry Township, Butler County, Pennsylvania. The book contains transcriptions of all the extant tombstones in the known cemeteries in the township. One stone was missed - check out the inscription in the addendum. Download the HTML file
- A physical description of each tombstone, complete with all symbols
- A description of any flag holders on each plot
Cemetery Book Addendum:
One additional small burial site was located in the woods in the autumn of 2009. There were numerous stone fragments scattered in the area, but only a few stones with readable markings. They are as follows (the slashes indicate a new line):

??? _____ THOU MUST WITHOUT/ TO SMILE AS THE SUMMER _____/ PLEASANT IS THE AIR OF _____/ PROUD BE THY SILENT SLUMBER/ PEACEFUL IN THE GRAVE SO LOW/ THOSE NOW WILL JOIN OUR NUMBERS/ THOUGH MORE OUR SOULS SHALL LIVE/ BROTHER THOU HAST _____/ NOW THY LOSS WE DEEPLY FEEL/ BUT IS GOD THAT HATH BORNE US/ WHEN STILL OUR SORROWS HEAL./ AGAIN GO HOME TO MEET THEE/ THEN IN HEAVEN WITH JOY TO MEET/ WHEN THE DAY OF LIFE IS FLED/ WHERE NO FAREWELL IS HEARD
